Who are we?
The Czech News Center (CNC) is one of the largest media houses in Central Europe. Every day we are here for millions of people who want to be in the picture. In our newsrooms we prepare popular titles, such as Blesk, Sport, Reflex, E15, Svět motorů and 80+ other printed materials and websites. And that's not all...
We still like the smell of newspaper but we believe in the future of online media
Multimedia content is prepared by our editors in 8 specialized newsrooms. The number of web magazines, as well as mobile applications and other online projects that are created under the CNC banner, attacks a hundred. In a nutshell, we are experiencing digital transformation in the same way as our audience.
We are currently writing a new chapter in the media world.
What will it be like?
In the 90s we published the first independent newspapers and magazines... After 2000, we were pleasantly refreshed by the Internet wave and we began to digitize... And today? Today, we are building on our content experience and push the boundaries of (not only) online media. Interactive content, social networks, augmented reality... That is where we see the future.
We are part of CMI
Czech News Center belongs to the Czech Media Invest (CMI) group, which focuses on media activities in the region of Central and Western Europe. Thanks to the cooperation within this group, we form a strong line-up of media brands from printed content, through online to radio.
CMI not only creates content, but also manages its distribution. A sufficient circulation of the most widely read daily newspapers and magazines is taken care of by the Czech Print Center network of printers, and in the field of online media, our investment in the technological unicorn, Gjirafa Tech, has paid off.
